Crystal Cotton mats should be vacuumed regularly, at least once a week. In high foot traffic areas up to once a day to prevent heavy build up of soil. You can clean it with an extractor and hang it to dry. For an extremely dirty mat with heavy soil on it, it can be commercially laundered. Cotton mats should not be washed with mats made of Nylon or other synthetic carpet yarns. Make sure that cotton mats are thoroughly dry to prevent mildew from forming in the cotton yarn.
Crystal Cotton mats should always be dry before being placed. If you wish to roll the mat for transport make sure the mat is cooled before rolling.
